THE MISSION's Goal

To produce an army of youth who are committed to soul–winning for life. As a Seventh–day Adventist missionary training center, we intend to train soul–winners by:

  • Providing a nurturing environment in which the students can grow in their relationship with God.
  • Providing training and practical experience in evangelistic work via canvassing, bible work, evangelistic seminars, church planting, health seminars etc.
  • Providing a curriculum that challenges students to think; creating love for God and the study of His word.
  • Providing the opportunities for the development of leadership qualities, preparing them for service within and without the church community.
  • Providing students with model instructors that exemplify soul–winning in their lives.

THE PROGRAM

Here at THE MISSION we emphasize a balanced Bible–based curriculum. This balance is maintained through a consistent blending of a challenging academic program and a vigorous practical program through Sequential Evangelism. This one–year program focuses on preparing the missionary for a life of service in their respective fields both in and outside of what many refer to as "full–time ministry". As Christ's followers we are all given a divine commission. Our culture of excellence is dedicated to coupling our Five Core Competencies with supplementary training intensives utilizing various experienced instructors.

Our philosophy of Sequential Evangelism will be primarily focused on a specific local territory in union with a local church. Frontline experience is indispensible and each missionary will have an opportunity, with group support and guidance from experienced spiritual advisors, to utilize the most effective techniques for soul winning in an organized strategic fashion.
